As you enter the meticulously restored rooms, you can't help but be captivated by the intricate details and craftsmanship that define this home.

Each room tells a unique story of our rich African heritage and there is a strong sense of being rooted in history.

Access to all rooms is independent from the main house.

All our suites have tea and coffee stations, television, WI-FI uncapped internet, air-conditioning and fans. Our spacious bathrooms are all en-suite.

HERITAGE ROOM

A grand old colonial-style hand-carved headboard and dressing table set the tone for this stately bedroom.

The bed is extra-length Queen size and the en-suite bathroom has a recently refurbished shower and double basin vanity.

This beautifully appointed room has a separate entrance off the front porch and both a sitting and a dressing area.

NGUNI ROOM

A spacious room named after a Zulu cattle breed.

This room offers an authentic African experience with hand-crafted solid wood furniture and bespoke bathroom fittings.

The African theme is tastefully continued into the bathroom featuring fine African craft.

This old, colonial style room has an outside entrance with a small patio onto the beautiful garden.

The hand carved litchi-wood bed is extra length Queen size and there is a full en suite bathroom and a sitting area.

Bhekimithi Room

The name of this room translated from Zulu means “Look at the trees”.

It has incredible views of the huge surrounding trees and paddocks from the upstairs bedroom windows which take up most of the north facing wall.

It is an extremely spacious luxury room with sitting area and a full en-suite bathroom complete with free-standing bath.

Rooted in a bygone era it elegantly combines the old with the new.

Nyoni Room

Translated from Zulu the ‘bird’ room is situated upstairs and is given its name for its view onto the garden which boasts a prolific number of birds.

This bedroom can be both twin or king size and is furnished with antique headboards.

The newly added en-suite bathroom has a shower and double basin vanity.
