Much to do on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast

Beaches, fishing, diving, safaris and shopping - we have it all!

Thompson's Bay named after the family

The beach is the main attraction for most visitors and the Dolphin Coast has 5 kms of magnificent golden beaches and sheltered coves from which to choose, including one named after Trevor Thompson’s grandfather, Thompson’s Bay! The Dolphin Coast is home to many exciting rock & surf fishing spots and many game fish are caught offshore by local fishing enthusiasts. Some of the beaches offer excellent diving spots for the spear fishermen and beautiful reefs for the scuba diver.

There are many interesting places along the Dolphin Coast to explore. These include Crocodile Farms, an Animal Farm, Sugar Mill, Pottery Gallery, a “Zulu” experience and the historical King Shaka Trail. Other activities on offer are 5 great Golf Courses, Horse riding, Quad Bikes, Mountain Bike Trails, Microlight Flips and Dolphin Viewing at sea.

There is a fantastic range of shopping centres and a wide variety of restaurants in the area.
